Film & Destroy examines North Carolina skate culture through the lenses of the skaters. It is a collection of footage featuring some of the state's most talented riders and will be released for free online later this year.
The film features skating from many of the best rippers in North Carolina including: Dan Murphy, Jed Shooter, Durand Beasley, Cameron Keene, Anthony Alcantara, Coley Martin, Alec Chambers, and many more.
The project is being lead by James Tupper, but it's mostly a collaboration between many of the skaters in the film.
Yes. F&D is being made for the love of North Carolina skateboarding and will be available online for free after it premieres.
Yes, but due to other projects and schedules with the riders, we never got to really dive into it until 2012. Most of the film takes place in the 2012-2013 range.
No. F&D is just a video put together by a group of friends. The project used to be run by Post22, but changed when Post22 became a board company.
Yes! We want to represent as many different NC skaters and skate scenes as we can. If you have some good skate footage that you want in the video, save it and then reach out to one of us on Facebook or Instagram. We'll do our best to incorporate it.
It will premiere in Raleigh later this year, although we don't have an exact date or location yet. We are open to having premieres in other cities afterward so if you have a place in mind, then let us know.
